Education
After attending college at the University of California, Berkeley, I returned to southern California and started my career in the field of education and received my Master's degree in Education.
Career
I became a middle school teacher and taught primarily Reading and History for eight years before becoming a studio teacher for child performers working in the entertainment industry. My previous work experience both in the cruise ship industry and as a tour director has also allowed me to continue my love of teaching and working with children while traveling and visiting various places throughout the world.
Hobbies and Interests
In my free time, I enjoy a variety of activities, but my greatest passions are travel, writing and photography. I am also interested in the natural environment and teaching children about the importance of taking care of all living things. This became the inspiration for my first book, Little Bird's First Adventure.
